Date Night Ideas

DATE NIGHT IDEA: INTERACTIVE WINE OR FOOD CLASSES AT CAPUTOS.

Caputo’s, a casual Italian market featuring three different locations offers a variety of interactive classes ranging from cheese tasting to beer tasting, to cooking classes and more. These classes are extremely informative and engaging. I always love them when I go. They offer in-person and online classes. You can book here.

DATE NIGHT IDEA: CHOCOLATE-COVERED STRAWBERRY BAR AT DIPPED HAUS.

Dipped Haus in Sandy is Utah’s first chocolate-covered strawberry bar and workshop featuring a unique take on date night and events. The only way you’d catch me eating strawberry is if it’s dipped in chocolate so let’s get into it. Workshops start at $27 per person and they typically take between 45 minutes to an hour to complete. I opted for milk chocolate and hubby opted for dark chocolate. Both flavors were insanely good. They have white chocolate, confetti, and other options to choose from. They feature add-ons like edible glitter, sprinkles, toppings, and more for an additional cost. Dipped Haus is interactive, fun, and a perfect date night. They also feature pre-packaged berries that change in flavor weekly. Some of the flavors include cinnamon roll w/cream cheese frosting, banana cream pie, cocoa pebbles, strawberry shortcake… you get the picture. You can book here.

DATE NIGHT IDEA: PAINT & WINE NIGHTS WITH THE ART NOMAD STUDIO.

Date nights are great when you mix things up a bit. The Art Nomad Studio in Salt Lake City is on a mission to make art accessible to everyone and bring joy while doing it. Hubby and I joined one of their Paint & Wine Nights at Tea Zaanti. For a total of $29/PP we enjoyed a cozy date night featuring a take-home canvas, all the paint colors we needed, the most wonderful brushes, and a guided session on how to complete the artwork. You can book here.

DATE NIGHT IDEA: WOODWORKING CLASSES AT COMMUNITY WOODSHOP.

Flight board making at Community Woodshop. Community Woodshed features the best woodworking tools and classes. They offer classes to members and non-members, and the classes include wood, and access to tools, and last around two hours. This class is perfect for date night because it’s extremely interactive, intimate, and completely customizable. Jayden, who owns the woodshop, walked us through the entire experience and explained to us how to safely use the machines. I know you wouldn’t think so, but because of the type of class and the instructions provided, this was really easy to learn. You can book here.
